Tucked in at the end of a news story about the Red Sox was this item:
Jason Gagne, 32, a videographer for NESN, died Monday of an apparent heart attack while driving along American Legion Highway. Gagne shot a lot of Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics games as well as the ``Sports Plus" show.
Jason was also my cousin.(Technically my second cousin, as his mother Christine is my cousin.)Early yesterday morning, Christine's son Jimmy was woken up at by a knock at the door from the state police. He had to go and identify Jason's brother's body. Then Jimmy and his sister Stephanie had to tell their mom that Jason was dead.
Please pray for them, if you have a chance. There are no other words that will help.
