Death of Common Sense

An eleven year old Santa Claus is kicked out of a Jr. High dance and is told by the principal in the way out that he "had to be sensitive to other religions at the school."

More likely, it's just another sign the death of common sense. I've not read Phillip K Howard's book by the same title, but it does seem we have too much "I'm offended by that" and not enough common sense these days.

Really, if the only religious persecution present in the US is that Muslim, Hindu and Jewish kids have to go to a dance with Santa, I'd say that's progress.
